Do you offer discounts?

We are pleased to offer a 5% discount on the total grooming service when you book appointments for two or more dogs simultaneously at the same location. Additionally, if you pay in full with cash or check, you will receive a $10 discount on the total grooming service. If you were referred by another client, both you and the referring client will receive a $10 discount on your respective grooming services.

What brands of products do you use?

We proudly use only the highest-quality products in the pet grooming industry for your pup. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our choice of brands, which include IvSanBernard, Hydra, iGroom, Crown Royale, Quadruped, Nature's Specialties, ShowSeason, and Les Pooch. We wholeheartedly believe in the quality of these products, which are designed to provide long-lasting fragrance and nourish your pet's skin and coat for optimal health and vitality.

Are there any additional fees?

All transactions made by methods other than cash or check are subject to a 2% processing fee (excluding Washington). When booking your first appointment with us, a $25 deposit is required, which will be applied to your total grooming service cost. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 hours of your scheduled time. If you cancel or reschedule your grooming appointment 48 hours or less than the set appointment time, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $60. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time, you will be subject to paying the full cost of the service that was booked and you will be considered a no show. If paying by invoice, the invoice must be paid in full within 48 hours of receiving to avoid an additional $20 late fee.

What is your dematting policy?

Dematting services are available at a rate of $2 per minute, with a maximum charge of 20 minutes. We evaluate each case individually, prioritizing the dematting of the head, face, ears, and tail. For pets with severe matting, it may be necessary to clip the coat short to ensure a humane and comfortable experience.

Please note that pets who go longer between appointments or have matted or impacted coats may incur additional fees.

Why is teeth brushing and gland expression an additional charge?

At Supple Paws, we are committed to delivering transparent and trustworthy service. If your dog is not receiving regular teeth brushing at home between grooming sessions, the effectiveness of our dental care may be diminished. Additionally, we believe that gland expression is best performed by a veterinarian, as they can conduct the procedure internally for longer lasting results. At Supple Paws, we prefer to focus on providing top notch external care for dogs, while entrusting internal health services to veterinarians.

Why is a quote provided for the service instead of a solidified price?

We provide quotes for our grooming services based on an in-person assessment of your dog's specific condition. The pricing can vary based on several factors, including the amount of time the service takes, the dog's size, coat length, behavior, and any impacted coat or excessive shedding. This personalized approach enables us to offer a more accurate estimate tailored to your dog's unique needs. Please be aware that the quoted price may change depending on coat length and the time elapsed since the last grooming appointment. We will ensure that any adjustments to the pricing are clearly communicated to you prior to checkout.
